gerry got me listening to sad songs again after sending me your guardian angel. i heart gerry. she holds my hand during nervewrecking moments in v for vendetta and when announcing team. lovelove(:yesterday's match was... i dont know. 3 days (2 now) left till season and everyone is feeling discouraged): sure, the src girls were way more experienced and more skillful than us, but i think we really realised that we have such a long, long, looong way to go if we really want to win this. as a defender i felt really lousy having all those goals scored against us. but then again, it must have been even worse for sup, especially when it wasnt her fault. sometimes i marvel at how things turn out exactly how you dont expect them to. last year i was so glad that i wasnt a defender because i thought being part of defensive short corner was positively frightful. imagine having people like rachel hitting the ball directly at you at top speed. and after seeing brenda's bruised nails from being stopper in offensive short corner, i wouldnt have thought of being stopper either. and now i'm all of the above(:
