tripping, stumbling, flipping, fumbling...
so not! haha yesterday i was busy being an obediant and filial daughter, accompanying my mother to order harrod's christmas hampers after a gruelling 3 hour wait as i read (and fell asleep) in kino. in the process, i discovered why i am such a sucker for pretty packaging and fancy bookcovers- i inherited it from my mother. she was almost conned into including coconut ice in the hampers because of the nice green tins they come in. (by the way there is some sort of candy in a tin covered with fairies that i really really like in the adjacent shop. it is really really pretty.)
which brings me to my second discovery- my mother does not trust my taste. i was trying to explain to her how unappealing coconut ice sounded and how even the picture at the back of the tin did not look very appetizing (and this is coming from someone with a sweet tooth) but she completely ignored me. however, when the salesman who was assisting us hinted that coconut ice was not exactly the best of choices, she immediately agreed. hmph unfairness i say! anyway daddy joined us for dinner and i got new tigers. so i am supermegaduper happy(: and whenever i dine alone with my parents i feel like an only child, which is fun!
anyway, it's love actually season! i love this time of year cos there is no homework! and there wont be for many many months to come! and i get to eat brandy butter on toast for breakfast (,lunch and dinner) everyday! i usually love the rain but there has been a little too much of that lately): ive been cooping myself up at home hoping to get some stuff done but that's obviously not going to happen. as franz ferdinand says, take me out! and bombs, that's an order.
