hello! today was pretty awesome(: teehee. firstly i got bored at work and was surfing the net and i stumbled upon the sta travel website and that got me all excited about our japan trip! and then i checked my email. one new message in my inbox. your ucas track status has changed. O_O and i really didnt want to dampen my happyhappy mood so i resisted checking for like a whole... 5 minutes before realising that there was no point ignoring it. unsuccessful conditional conditional. like whaaa? i got an offer from imperial too! i really couldnt believe my eyes cos my interview was really quite horrible. (yeah i lied when i said it wasnt so good. it was bad. like they asked me smth about nhs which i didnt know about and the woman sitting right smack in front of me was wearing an nhs lanyard around her neck kind of bad. but then after that they said one of my answers was very good. but still i wanted to crumble and die because i knew i should have read the darn wikipedia article i printed out which was sitting prettily in my bag) so it really was a pleasant surprise(: thank god for that(: okay so thats 2 good things.
number three, while i was trying to locate another costume shop near my workplace a bus no. 7 AND 61 zoomed past and i realised that they stop right behind raffles hospital. so thats TWO straight buses home that i discovered! no more bugis-buonavista-92 routes for me! though i must say ive become very good at swooping in on empty seats on the train((:
number four, i not only found the costume shop i was looking for, i found another one! so far that's 3 costume shops within walking distance from my workplace. and apparently there are more! ive even marked them out on a map; i just need to locate them. so NO excuses. no costume, no entry. please come to our costume party! my friends are very cool and happening. at least they think they are(:
